A PROJECT TO SHARE
THE WORLD TOUR IN THE SAIL
SEP à la voile (“MS and Sail”) is a project of sailing around the world for two years. Discovering and travelling the world has always been my dream and I would like to do that on a sailboat as it is what I am passionate about.
In short, it is the need and desire to live what is - for me - the most exceptional thing in the world. It would be an opportunity to travel being free, without pressure and frontiers, on my own time and doing what I love - sailing. It would be the perfect way to escape, appreciate the simple things, enjoy, photograph and live something which is probably going to change my life forever.
The goal is also to get to know my disease a little more, to learn how to live with it without it monopolizing my life and to prove that it is necessary to keep your spirits up and that it is important to keep making plans.
“SHARING” is an important word to depict this project. Indeed, I can’t imagine living this experience by myself. I really want to share it with my family, friends and everyone else willing to support this project.
Other MS patients will be able to relate to this project as it will help them to escape and to travel through pictures, blog posts, videos and exchanges over social medias.
Finally, this project will also contain sailing boat baptisms all over the world for MS patients because we all know this: MS doesn’t have any frontiers.
